8-year-old suspended from school for nail file According to this column in the Washington Post, Dustin Rogers, 8, was suspended from school last month — and the machinery to expel him from school was set into motion — because he brought to school nail clippers on a keychain. I’m assuming these were the folding type, because the school was particularly concerned about the “dangerous” 2-inch “blade” (i.e. nail file) attached. Those nail files seem to be seen as a risk nearly everywhere these days. I wonder if there has ever been a documented case of someone being injured with one.
