A lot of people I know would say that it's crass to have a page about the things I own and use here. I would say: piffle. Things, for better or for worse, do indeed shoulder some of the job of defining a person.

And if I can help anyone reach a useful decision on a purchase for themselves, so much the better. The gadgets section is the most useful for this (or will be, at least, once I get it updated). The inventions section is for potentially useful ideas I've had lately. (I decided 'inventions' sounded better than 'schemes', but some of them are actually schemes.) And cars is just a section about the cars I've got, and the ones I'm looking to buy.
